BISHOP LAWRENCE R. ROBERTSON is a senior executive with significant success in ministry, team recruitment, building and management and strategic planning growth organizations.

He is a native of Hawkins, Texas, relocated to Washington State by way of the United States Armed Forces in the early 1970's.

Bishop Robertson has been in ministry for over 39 years and has served over 30 years as the Founding Pastor of Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Bremerton, Washington. Through his leadership Emmanuel has grown into a leading entity on the Kitsap Peninsula, highly involved in the community which it serves. With his vision and tenacity, the work accomplished by this ministry is highly recognized and valued throughout the city. Having developed a reputation for quality and excellence in ministry has opened many doors and many destined opportunities for this intrepid leader.

Currently, in addition to his role as Senior Pastor of Emmanuel, he serves as Chairman of the Pacific Northwest District Council, overseeing numerous churches throughout Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana. He also chairs the Bremerton Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, responsible for providing quality housing for low income citizens in the City of Bremerton.

Bishop Robertson is known for his charismatic, enlightened presentation of the gospel which has enabled him to minister to many denominations and organizations throughout the years. As a result of his practical, personable and compassionate demonstration of the gospel, he is a much sought after lecturer, teacher, motivational speaker, leader and counselor.

He shares the pastorate of Emmanuel Apostolic Church with his wife Opal, who is also from Hawkins, Texas and they are the proud parents of seven lovely children and eleven cherished grandchildren.
